Selene Cordara has a degree in Business Administration - with Honors - from Santa Monica College (California - USA).

She is one of the founding member of GNU Solidario. Selene speaks Italian, Spanish and English and works on partner relationships, administration and logistics tasks. She considers her two kids the best lifetime achievement. Selene currently lives in the Canary islands.

Carlos Scotta is a bioengineer from the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER), Argentina. He was part of the first GNU Health implementation in the Hospital 'Joseph Lister' in the city of Seguí, Entre Rios (Argentina).

For the last 5 years he has worked ad-honorem in the team of the Chair of 'Public Health' at UNER in different projects of computerization and development through the use of Free Software. He is currently managing the Information System of the Primary Health Care Center of 'Humberto D'angelo' in the city of Paraná.

Pierre Michel Augustin has a degree in computer engineering from the Technological University of Santiago, and a Master's on IT Management from Ramon Llull University.

He is a teacher at Universities, State University of Haiti – Henry Christophe Campus in Limonade (UEH-CHCL) and Antenor Firmin University (UNAF) Pierre Michel is a member of the Free Software Foundation and besides GNU Health, he actively works on different Free/Libre projects such as GNOME or PURISM, localizing them to Haitian Creole.

Thomas has actively worked in the international health IT community since 2002. He has acquired extensive knowledge in the use of free and open source software in health care. He is co-founder and moderator of MedFLOSS.org, a database about free/libre and open source software.

Currently, Thomas serves as an editorial board member for the International Journal for Medical Informatics (IJMI). Thomas is a member of the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS). He participated actively in a variety of international organisations where he held different working group chair positions (International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH, co-chair CCTOS WG, since 2009), International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA, chair OS WG, 2010-2017), European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI, chair 2009-2017, co-chair since 2018)).
Thomas is a member of GNU Solidario since 2010.

In his day job Thomas works as Senior Projekt Manager Digital Health, at BioCon Valley GmbH®, a health cluster in Northern Germany. At BioCon Valley GmbH®, Thomas serves as a senior project manager and expert contributor to a variety of topics ranging from healthy ageing, telemedicine and ehealth to digitalization in health. He also acts as liaison officer for the cluster organization ScanBalt, which was co-founded by BioCon Valley in 2004.

Thomas is an electronics engineer by training, having studied at University of Wuppertal (Germany) with a focus on communications engineering. He works in German and English and has basic knowledge of Spanish and Portugese.

Dr. Edgar Hagenbichler has a medical degree from University of Vienna and a diploma for occupational health. He is also a registered Psychotherapist.

Edgar has been involved in the GNU Health community for many years, working in the localization for Austria and providing support on medical standards, such as the World Health Organization International Classification of Diseases (ICD).

Fernando Sassetti is a bioengineer, he has a master in management of services and health systems and he is a doctor of engineering. Dr. Sassetti is an exclusive professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Entre Ríos.

He is an an associate professor of Health Systems Organization and Models for SocioHealth Policies in the Bioinformatics and Bioengineering departments. Dr. Sassetti works in I+D related to the approach of population's health problems. Since 2012 he works with an interdisciplinary team in order to incorporate appropriate technologies for the management of health services.

Luis Falcón

Luis Falcón is a Spanish physician, scientist and activist. He holds a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the California State University, Northridge (USA), in Medicine from IUCS, Buenos Aires (Argentina) and a Master’s in Genomics and Medical Genetics from the University of Granada, Spain. Dr Falcon is a social and animal rights activist.

He is the founder of GNU Solidario, a nonprofit humanitarian organization that works in the areas of Social Medicine. Luis is the author of GNU Health, the award-winning Free/Libre Health and Hospital Information System. He is a guest speaker at international conferences about Social Medicine, eHealth and Libre Software. He currently lives in the Canary Islands, Spain.
